Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of runaiaudit.com and related services (the “Service”), operated by Lakeshore Ventures LLC (“RunAIAudit,” “we,” “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of your business to use the Service.

2. The Service — what it is and is not

RunAIAudit provides software tools and informational reports that help you assess AI systems against regulatory frameworks.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

4. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable and partial periods are not prorated.
• We may change pricing on a going-forward basis with notice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt it, reverse engineer it, access it without authorization, or use it to violate any law or third-party rights.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the information you submit. You grant us a limited license to use it solely to provide and improve the Service. We handle personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, reports, and content, is owned by Lakeshore Ventures LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your requirements.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RunAIAudit and Lakeshore Ventures LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RunAIAudit and Lakeshore Ventures LLC from claims arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms; we will revise the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
